Proposals

The scheme proposes a new high-quality housing development providing:

  • 150 dwellings including affordable housing and comprising new 1, 2 and 3-bedroom homes;
  • Generous amounts of open space, integrating the surrounding copse and landscaping;
  • Pedestrian and cycle routes enabling connectivity to the new settlement;
  • Increased levels of biodiversity, contributing to environmental health and creating a more resilient and vibrant ecosystem.

The scheme will assist in the delivery of much-needed housing and affordable housing in the local area.

Our vision is to create a high-quality development which makes the most of its location and position on the Sidmouth Road and its proximity to the village centre with opportunities for improved connectivity.

The plan incorporates generous amounts of open space, retains the important trees and hedgerows that bound the site and respects its location near to existing dwellings. To the north of the site there is also an opportunity to preserve and enhance the Cat Copse woodland area.
